Steven Swanson

Steven has always had an interest in finance and service to others.  He began investing in high school when he turned 18.  This interest led him to pursue a degree in Economics from the University of St. Thomas, with a scholarship from the U.S. Army. Upon graduation Steven Commissioned as a 2^nd Lieutenant.  He spent 10 years on active duty having the opportunity to live or deploy around the world. In that time, he visited 32 countries and lived in 4.  After the military, Steven spent a few years in supply chain becoming a materials manager as part of a manufacturing site leadership team.  Driven to utilize his core skills to help others, he returned to his financial background. Steven is Series 7 and 66 licensed, as well as state life and health insurance. 

Steven and his wife Nicole are blessed with three young children: Logan, Charlotte, and Josephine. Steven met Jim Christian at the Lakeville Rotary Club.  Steven observed Jim's outstanding service to his clients and the additional flexibility afforded to clients through an independent firm.  He is happy to join the team.
